Romance “Pawèstri Tanpa Idhèntiti” told about woman who had anterograde (amnesiac). And then a woman without identity called with name Pawèstri. This name getting from a man that found and helping her. ‘Pawèstri’ in Javanese language, mean: woman, female. A merciful man that helping Pawèstri is Panuluh Barata.

Because of the kind from Panuluh Barata, Pawèstri can healed again. Even though her memory is not directly back as before. But by Panuluh Barata be done as his family. So, beautiful Pawèstri growing be smart woman and having good career. Pawèstri be a wonderful and sparkling personality.

However, son’s Panuluh Barata not like with the coming of Pawèstri. One of son Panuluh Barata name Pangèstu can’t receive Pawèstri as new’s family. He think that Pawèstri is not good woman cause found by his father in hotel in some razia police, shame. Even, Pangèstu worry if his father fall in love with Pawèstri because that woman very beautifully. He didn’t want that woman replace the position of his mother who has died. More, Pangèstu really worry Pawèstri take a profit from his father that very rich. From this part, conflict was began.

CRITICS

In beginning, may readers thinking that this novel difficult enough cause tell about business and business. Business about frozen meat from Perth West Australia to Jakarta Indonesia. It’s rather extra ordinary story. Usually novel in Javanese language told the story of convensional cultural life people in Island of Java only. Be diferrent and rather difficult to understand. But in fact, when continue reading book, plot of story can be understood easily.

About grammatical Javanese langugage in romance, ‘Pawèstri Tanpa Idhèntity’ may there is no need to be questioned because this is masterpiece of author Suparto Brata, “begawan” or master Javanese Literature from past until now.

Interesting? Of course this novel very interesting cause this romance tell about hot issues like woman’s career, prostitution, business frozen meat from Perth to Jakarta, modernitation, etc. Suparto Brata try hard to making his story rich and relevan. The story began at Jakarta in rainy season 2007, torrents of water were cascading down the road; and ending in 2012 just now. About time, place, tools, technology, looking good and compatible.

But in many part, author, unconsciously may forget that in his story, is still feels very normative, usual, and, normally. In example, almosst all the characters are being ‘forced’ to paried, married, and have children. The exception just special for the central character/figure Pawèstri, pregnant without husband. This is very show alignments of author to the central figure, and that’s feels not fair.

Not provided many populer problem at the present as delaying getting married because chase cereer, delaying have a child, or it’s difficult to got pregnant or have a child. Many kind problems like that very possible could stirring up of the mind and emotion of the reader.
